SMF-1211 is a water-soluble nonionic fluorinated surfactant that can provide highly efficient surface activity at very low doses. It can effectively reduce the surface tension of water-based systems and significantly improve the wettability of water-based solutions at solid/gas and solid/liquid interfaces. This outstanding wetting ability enables SMF-1211 to be widely applied in electroplating solutions, emulsion polymerization and metal cleaning. This product is developed based on the six-carbon fluorine chain technology and will not decompose into perfluorooctanoic acid and its contained (PFOA) to cause environmental problems.
SMF-1211 is a completely water-soluble product free of organic solvents. It can stably exist in harsh environments, especially in strong acid conditions, and can demonstrate excellent performance in demanding formulations such as strong acids, oxidizing, and reducing substances.
"Application
Film antistatic agent: Used as a film antistatic agent to enhance the antistatic property and anti-adhesion of the film.
Metal electroplating solution: Enhance the wetting performance of the electroplating solution, form a microbubble film on the surface of the plated parts, and inhibit the formation of chromic acid mist. Because it can stably exist in a strong acid environment and greatly reduce surface tension, it can shorten the electroplating treatment time, improve efficiency and prevent the plating solution from being carried out.
Emulsion polymerization: Emulsification synthesis of fluorine monomers as auxiliaries, such as polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) emulsions or powders.
Metal treatment: cleaning, rust removal and pickling.
