SMF-1215 is a water-soluble anionic fluorocarbon surfactant. It can effectively reduce the surface tension of water-based systems and significantly enhance the wetting performance of water-based solutions at solid/gas and solid/liquid interfaces. This outstanding wetting ability enables SMF-1215 to be widely applied in industries such as floor wax, paint coatings, adhesives, metal protectants, and mining and mineral processing. This product has poor foaming performance and is actually used as a defoamer in many situations. Due to the presence of phosphate groups, it is not suitable for application in hard water systems containing multivalent cations.
"Application
Low foaming property/defoamer: It can reduce or eliminate the foaming property of wax, paint, adhesive or other water-based formula products.
Paints and coatings: Enhance the anti-fouling, anti-fogging, anti-ultraviolet and anti-adhesion performance of the system, increase the surface gloss of the coating, and be compatible with most water-based formulations.
Polymer: Anti-fouling, anti-fog, and anti-ultraviolet. It can be used as a mold release agent, calcium oxide scale remover, and coupling agent for fillers. It can enhance external lubricity and prevent plasticizers from migrating within the system.
Adhesive: Enhances wetting ability and is compatible with most water-based formulations;
Wax and varnish: Enhance wetting and leveling properties, reduce craters, and be compatible with most water-based formulations;
Metals/Electronics: It can enhance the etching effect and can also be used as an electroplating assistant, rinsing agent and corrosion inhibitor.
Grout/putty: Enhances anti-fouling and anti-ultraviolet capabilities, improves outdoor weather resistance, and is compatible with most water-based formulations.
